Sustainability

For me sustainability isn't just about materials, it's about the way jewellery is made. That's why I keep my production local.

Because everything is nearby, I am deeply involved in every step of the process. The sculpting, goldsmithing and polishing all happens in my own atelier, ensuring each piece is shaped by hand with care and intention. My castings are done by a family-owned company in the Antwerp diamond district, and my stones are set by a local setter just around the corner.

The made-to-order concept ensures nothing is made without purpose. This approach helps reduce overproduction and prevents unnecessary waste. It also means that every piece of jewellery is unique. Unlike mass-production, every detail is considered and every texture individual. No two pieces are ever identical.

When it comes to materials, I believe in strength and longevity. Unlike mass-produced jewellery, which is often thinned out or hollowed to cut costs, I design my pieces to be solid and built to last. This not only gives them a more refined weight and feel but also ensures they can be worn for years, aging beautifully and remaining repairable rather than disposable. I source my metals from a certified supplier that recycles silver into new high-quality material, reducing the need for newly mined recourses.

Sustainability is about slowing down, valuing craftsmanship and making jewellery that will be treasured for a lifetime.
